The 1838-O Capped Bust Diamond Dust Half Dollar Tribute 1 oz Copper Medal honors one of the classic historic designs in American numismatic history.

The obverse displays a left-facing portrait of Liberty wearing a cloth cap inscribed with the word LIBERTY alongside the historic 1838 date and O mint mark.

Thirteen stars encircle the central figure over a deep blue glitter finish background that provides contrast against the copper portrait.

The reverse features an American eagle with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch beneath the inscription UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
