The upper perimeter is inscribed in raised block lettering with the Scripture reference ISAIAH 53:5.
The lower perimeter bears the continuation of the verse reading BY HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED along the bottom rim.
Struck in high-relief pure copper, the medal displays an antique copper finish with dark, rich contrasting patination across every detail.
