Refund Policy

At Metal2go, we specialize in collectible copper, bullion, precious metals, and limited-edition products. Due to the nature of these products, limited mintages, and fluctuations in commodity markets, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated in this policy.

Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.


1. All Sales Final


Except as expressly provided in this policy, all purchases made through Metal2go are final.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:


  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Change of mind
  • Market price fluctuations
  • Changes in metal values
  • Delayed appreciation in value
  • Accidental purchases
  • Customer ordering errors
  • Failure to read product descriptions
  • Refusal of delivery
  • Carrier delays outside our control
  • Pre-order delivery delays outside our control


2. Pre-Order Products


Many products sold by Metal2go are offered on a pre-order basis.


By purchasing a pre-order item, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:


  • The item is not immediately available for shipment.
  • Estimated shipping and delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • Delays may occur due to manufacturers, mints, distributors, suppliers, customs authorities, transportation providers, or other circumstances beyond Metal2go’s control.
  • Orders containing multiple products may be held until all items become available for shipment.
  • Metal2go is not obligated to split shipments unless otherwise agreed upon.


Customers are responsible for reviewing the estimated delivery timeframe stated on each product page before completing a purchase.


Pre-order cancellations are not guaranteed and may be denied at Metal2go’s sole discretion.


3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items


If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the product description, you must notify Metal2go within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.


To submit a claim, please provide:


  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the item
  • Clear photographs of all packaging materials
  • Any additional information reasonably requested


Failure to report the issue within 48 hours of delivery may result in denial of the claim.


4. Claim Review Process

All claims are reviewed individually.

Metal2go reserves the sole right to determine whether a refund, replacement, store credit, partial refund, repair, or other resolution is appropriate.

Submission of a claim does not guarantee approval.


5. Authorized Returns

If a return is authorized by Metal2go, the item must:


  • Be returned in its original condition
  • Include all original packaging
  • Include any capsules, slabs, certificates, boxes, inserts, or accessories
  • Show no signs of damage, misuse, tampering, cleaning, modification, or alteration


Metal2go reserves the right to reject any return that fails to meet these requirements.


6. Shipping Costs


Original shipping charges, insurance fees, signature confirmation fees, taxes, and other shipping-related charges are non-refundable unless required by law or caused by an error made by Metal2go.


Customers are responsible for return shipping expenses unless otherwise approved by Metal2go.


7. Lost or Stolen Packages


Once a shipment has been accepted by the shipping carrier, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, or any other carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the carrier.

Metal2go is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, misdelivered, damaged during transit, or marked as delivered by the carrier.

Customers are encouraged to contact the carrier directly regarding delivery-related claims. Metal2go may provide reasonable assistance when available.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes


Customers agree to contact Metal2go before initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, or claim with a bank, credit card issuer, or payment processor.


Chargebacks for Pre-Order Purchases

By purchasing a pre-order item, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:


  • The item is not immediately available for shipment.
  • The estimated release, shipping, or delivery timeframe is clearly disclosed on the product page.
  • Delivery dates are estimates and may be subject to change.
  • The customer has reviewed and accepted the product description and applicable store policies before completing the purchase.


A chargeback, payment dispute, or claim based solely on the fact that a pre-order item has not shipped before its stated estimated delivery timeframe shall not constitute a valid basis for disputing the transaction.


Metal2go reserves the right to contest any chargeback involving pre-order items by providing evidence including:


  • Product listings and descriptions
  • Published estimated delivery dates
  • Order confirmations
  • Customer communications
  • Terms of Service
  • Refund Policy
  • Shipping Policy
  • Checkout records
  • Payment records
  • Shipping and tracking records


Fraudulent or Bad-Faith Chargebacks


Customers agree not to initiate a chargeback or dispute for the purpose of avoiding agreed-upon pre-order terms, obtaining products without payment, circumventing store policies, or otherwise acting in bad faith.


Metal2go reserves the right to challenge any chargeback believed to be inaccurate, fraudulent, abusive, or submitted in bad faith.


Where permitted by law, Metal2go may seek recovery of:


  • The original purchase amount
  • Shipping costs
  • Chargeback fees
  • Payment processing fees
  • Collection costs
  • Administrative expenses
  • Reasonable legal fees and related costs


Account Restrictions


Customers who engage in fraudulent, abusive, or repeated chargebacks may have future orders canceled, accounts restricted, and access to Metal2go services permanently revoked.


9. Limitation of Refund Rights


To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metal2go reserves the right to deny any refund request that does not comply with this policy.
